About this blog:

Hello and welcome to this blog. The purpose of which is to glorify God and share my thoughts on the world and culture at large and what it means to draw into deeper relationship with God.  If you are led here, I hope you are built up and drawn closers to God’s peace.  Ultimately, I see my call in life is to move to draw people into relationship with Christ and enter into His True Peace.  Feel free to question or challenge anything I have to say on this blog. We can all grow by exchanging in dialogue.  As I state in my first post, I hope to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God come in the flesh and to “shed light.”  I hope you are blessed by the contents of this blog. In terms of my statement of faith, I hope it is evident in what I post for now. It is worthwhile in finding out what is behind this blog and the theology involved to read the first post on the blog: https://peacebringer7.wordpress.com/2008/06/10/the-beginning-finally/.

May God’s Grace and Peace abound in your life

  1. Dear Timothy,
I want to thank you for taking the time to read my story. I know it was a long piece to read and at times hard to believe much less take in.
But non the less I really think you for reading it…

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I will do my best to answer them as honestly as I can and if I can not answer them I will say so.

    God Bless,

  2. Mr. Ryser’s article of the American church is very sad.
He must speak for himself because i know of no Christians who love God for what He can do for them but for what He did for us on the cross and for that we will be eternally grateful.
Be careful to generalize—true, the American church does need to be more like Christ ,as every Christian knows that need in himself if he is honest.
Yes, God does do for me, much more than i deserve but please dont generalize all of us to be only wanting to take from God—
and i believe He wants to give us more and more.
So unless you can be sure, please dont generalize—-there are those of us whose only hope is that we will be His love letter to a dying world—we can only pray He uses us for this cause.

Well, the world is now ripe with conflicts. Economic downturn. WE have earthquake in Washington DC. We have hurricane Irene ramping up . So Is this Birth Pangs or “just the way of things?”

Just as 9-11 caught the people off guard so will another major calamity. People were full of fear & sought God but within a short time, they returned to their old habits. It will take another major calamity to cause people to turn to God but this time many will not return to their former places & ways of sin.
Knowing this —-God is in control & nothing will happen that He did not ordain.

The true evidence of a man’s heart is how he treats one who can be of no possible use to him……..

My personal belief is that the United States has turned it’s back on God and will suffer for it. I know there are many good people who love God and are obedient to Him but the leadership of this nation no longer feels it necessary to honor Him by the promotion of public righteousness.

We’re the porn capital of the world. We make it, promote it, and then sell it world-wide bringing many, many people into sexual sin.

As a nation we have murdered millions and millions of the unborn. We continue in this sin, with no repentence and now many of the Church are sympathetic to this practice.

Same-sex marriage is becoming more and more popular, and even defended by some who call themselves followers of Jesus.

And God is going to bless the USA? I don’t think so, not unless we, as a nation cry out to God and come to a deep and serious repentence.

One does not have to be a prophet to see judgement coming upon America. All one has to do is read the Scripture and you will see that a Nation, or a people, cannot treat God the way we treat Him and expect to prosper.

I believe it is just a matter of time until something very, very, serious comes upon this once great nation.

I don’t enjoy saying these things but I believe it is a dark day and that we need to see the danger and prepare ourselves for the trouble that is coming to America.

I wish to question some statements and maybe some not so obvious notions or undertones.
Regarding birthpangs: fear of the end times (or joyous anticipation) is part and parcel of your belief, so you didn’t overshoot the runway with that. We could talk about perspective, audience. Convey fear to those you wish to convert. Express joy to those who are “in step” with you. Keep to yourself the giddy feeling of superiority towards all who don’t know the difference. AND THIS IS AMONG THOSE WHO WILL LISTEN, OR FEEL LIKE THEY BELONG.

This idea of God ordaining natural disasters. Sheese. It would be a stretch, I think, to even suggest that God “allows” large scale suffering.

Golly, and then we see intolerance.

The US leadership no longer…public righteousness. Really and truly, tell me when the US government had a public righteousness policy agenda for the purpose of honoring God.

Porn capital? Probably not. As an example, why do you think David Carridine went to Thailand to express and explore his weird view of sexuality? We know that he died in the process. What we don’t know is his spirituality.

Abortion? Name a church that is sympathetic. Name someone you know personnaly that suggests that abortion is desirable.

Same sex? Do you personnally know anyone that is happy in their homosexual skin? Let alone someone who is tortured by the desire to have acceptance in the intolerant christian community?

God bless the USA? If the Abrahamic Christian God blesses anything, it is individuals. A nation cannot get into heaven. Some supernatural being is going to judge some poor individual guilty based on pop culture? Even though the fallible human had no involvement in these larger collective sins?

And this “we” thing. Don’t include me as a willful participant in your checklist of indescretions. YOU may be a part of we.

Other than what your religion requires, how are you preparing for “the trouble that is coming to America?
